Nets make a difference

The Saturday side have been on a good run of form. In August, they finished unbeaten with two wins and a rare tie, which could quite easily have resulted in another victory. The good run continued into autumn with another victory over Melton St Audry’s 1st XI last weekend.

Usually net sessions tend to finish around July time, but this year they’ve continued into August, which has likely helped the squad stay focused for the final games of 2023.

Stonham now sit in 3rd place in the league with only today’s fixture away at Braintree remaining.
