2023 Awards and Stats
On Saturday 18th November, ESCC celebrated this year’s achievements at the traditional annual awards evening.
Congratulations go to all players who took part in last season’s Saturday and Sunday campaigns.
Below is a summary of the awards, including two awards named after former club members:
- The special Cyril’s Magic Moment award (pictured above) named after former player and club scorer, Cyril Rush, which this year went to Jonny Hails for a magnificent and instinctive diving catch away at Worlingworth.
- The Cliff Hart Trophy (below) – the recipient is determined by a player vote; this year the trophy was presented to Ollie Foster.
Another notable achievement is that Stephen Lewis has now become the club’s all-time leading wicket taker.
