At the end of each season the players’ batting and bowling averages are calculated and during the annual dinner and presentation, various awards are up for grabs. It’s not just about who scored the most runs or who took the most wickets; trophies are also given out for achievements such as ‘Young Player of the Year’, ‘Most Improved Player’ and the more light-hearted ‘Magic Moment’ and ‘Duck’ awards.
