Five wins in a row for Saturday XI

The Earl Stonham 1st XI are currently on a five game winning streak, after comfortably beating Elmstead Grasshoppers II. Once again, the bowling was tight, and Charlie Tunstall finished the game off with a quick-fire 27 from 10 balls.

The second team lost to local rivals Stowupland in a well contested match. The home side posted 200-7 and then fielded well, restricting ESCC II to 150-6. Tom Wray, pictured in the background of the picture above, and who also plays for ESCC’s saturday team, scored over 80 runs to help Stowupland secure victory.
