Sunday XI bounce back

On a glorious sunny Sunday, the Earl Stonham 2nd XI bounced back from last week’s defeat against Stowupland by beating Hadleigh Academy. Colin Macrow top-scored with 77 and Luke Edgar also scored a half century. Despite heavy rain in the morning, the Saturday side’s game away at Haverhill went ahead. In a very low scoring game, the 1st XI was pipped to the post by Haverhill II, breaking their unbeaten run. One of the highlights from the game was Charlie Tunstall’s five wicket haul for just 28 runs.
