Not so perfect weather for cricket

In an exciting game against Witham II, which was reduced to 36 overs due to rain showers, the Earl Stonham first team made it four wins on the trott, scoring 208-8 with just 1 ball remaining, after the home side posted a respectable 202-7. Scott Martin top-scored with 54 runs, Charlie Tunstall and Scott Gregory both bagged a pair of wickets, and also Scott Eade did well in the field by running out two of Witham’s batsmen. The Sunday side did not play at the weekend and resume on 1st June against local rivals Stowupland.
