First win for Stonham!

Last weekend Stonham’s Saturday side managed to get back to winning ways by beating Hadleigh. Whilst the royal wedding was taking place, Farmer Harry (Wrinch) blasted Stonham off to a great start with a solid 52 runs, forming a partnership with Colin Macrow who held the innings together with an excellent 83. Ant Stowe was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets, which pushes him onto the 2018 Suffolk bowling leader board.

This weekend the 1st team have two matches, one at home against Kelvedon and Feering II and a bank holiday Monday fixture away at Worlington.

The Sunday side have so far been a little unlucky to not come away with a victory, just falling short of the required run-rate. This weekend they have a break, so it’s a great chance for all members to get some batting practice in the Friday evening net sessions.
