First team back on track
A wonderful batting performance from the top order saw the Saturday side beat Bury St Edmunds III by 64 runs. Tom Wray, Trevor Scarlett and Colin Macrow all scored big half-centuries. Scott Gregory helped secure victory taking 6 wickets for 59 runs from 14.3 overs, including 4 maidens.
Unfortunately the Sunday side only managed to score 134 at home to Elmswell. Despite Taylor Thorpe dispatching the opposition’s number one batsmen for a diamond duck, Elmswell comfortably reached the small target and play closed just before 6pm.
