Macrow smashes 120
After last Sunday’s defeat against Worlington, the second team bounced back with flying colours scoring a very large total of 224 and beating Woolpit Academy. Colin Macrow continued his rich vein of form by backing up his 63 against Worlington with a century. He is the second player to make a century this season after Scott Eade made his maiden century against East Bergholt back in May.
The Saturday side struggled with only eight players against Maldon, but made a valiant effort to compete. Unfortunately, the batsmen couldn’t muster-up enough runs to defend and Maldon efficiently chased down a total of 127.
