ESCC teams lie in mid-table

This weekend the Saturday side travel to Maldon, where England captain, Alastair Cook, learnt his trade. The Sunday side visit Woolpit to play against their academy side.

Last weekend the Saturday side defeated Stowmarket for the second time this season, and the Sunday side lost narrowly against Worlington. The second eleven fought with a die hard attitude. Paul Storer lead the way by taking his first 5 wicket haul of the season and Colin Macrow top-scored with 63, however with only ten players it was too difficult to chase down a total of 217.
