Sun shining on Stonham

A great weekend of cricket lies ahead at the Earl Stonham Playing Field this weekend. On Saturday, Braintree II are the visitors. The Saturday side are seeking to make amends for the two recents defeats against Maldon II and Elmstead II. Stonham’s bowling attack is performing extremely well. Hopefully Taylor Thorpe, who recently took his first five wicket haul against Maldon II, can continue is fine form in the field. If the batsmen are able to add a few more runs to the board, Stonham should have a good chance of taking all 20 points. The Sunday side face local rivals Stowupland, which is always a fun encounter!
