Seade is on fire!
Scott Eade (also known as Seade on the pitch) has been out for the majority of the season due to work commitments, but this month he’s managed to fit in four games on the trot for both the Saturday and Sunday sides, and he’s scoring very handsomely:
- 74 on Saturday 4th against Hadleigh.
- 27 on Sunday 5th against Milden.
- 84 n.o. on Saturday 11th against Kelvedon.
- 80 on Saturday 18th August against Harwich.
Also, last weekend Stephen Lewis managed to equal Paul Storer’s six-fer against Harwich, leaving him in 4th place on the weekly Suffolk honours board.
This weekend the 1st team’s fixture is on the bank holiday Monday rather than Saturday, at home against Witham, where Scott will be aiming to score a century to join the likes of Scott Martin and Sam Fenning, who have achieved this grand feat already this season.
There will be a net session this Saturday starting from around 11am at the ground for those who would like to get their eye in for the President’s v Chairman’s game on Sunday and the league match the next day.
